1. About Nightbox

Nightbox is provided by Kittikhun Yodrak in Thailand. Nightbox plays sleep sounds and records sounds during the night so you can listen back and understand your snoring.

2. Wellness use only, not medical advice

Nightbox is a wellness tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition, including sleep apnea, and its scores and reports are not medical measurements. Do not rely on Nightbox to make medical decisions. If you’re worried about your snoring, breathing or sleep, talk to a doctor. In an emergency, contact local emergency services.

3. Your licence to use the app

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Nightbox on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. If you downloaded Nightbox from the App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; Apple is not responsible for the app or its support. If you downloaded it from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply.

You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute the app or its sounds, except where the law allows it.

4. Purchases, subscriptions and the free trial

• Nightbox is free to download. Premium is available as a monthly or yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their refund policies.
• The free trial runs on your device for 7 nights. It needs no payment card, nothing is charged, and it does not convert into a subscription.
• A lifetime purchase includes all current and future Premium features for as long as Nightbox is offered.

5. Our promises

• You will never pay to listen to your own recordings.
• Features and sounds you can use for free today stay free for you.
• If a subscription ends, you keep full access to all your recordings and reports.
• No ads, no forced ratings and no countdown discounts.

6. Your recordings and other people

Your recordings and reports belong to you and stay on your device. Nightbox records sound in the room, which may include other people such as a partner. You are responsible for using Nightbox lawfully and respectfully, including telling anyone who shares the room that you are recording, and for anything you choose to share.

7. Sounds

Most Nightbox sounds are generated by the app. Some are recordings released into the public domain under Creative Commons CC0. The app, its design and its sounds as a collection are protected by intellectual property laws.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep Nightbox reliable, but we cannot guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free or capture every sound, for example if your phone, its operating system or another app stops recording. We may update the app to improve it. We will not take away features or sounds that are free for you today.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Nightbox is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind beyond those that cannot be excluded by law. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for loss of data, arising from your use of Nightbox. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will let you know in the app. Continuing to use Nightbox after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.
